Marshall Bush

Co-Chairman

Bush co-founded UECS, Inc. in 2000 and continues to direct its organizational growth and development. He provides guidance and thought leadership in the areas of corporate culture, ethics, policy, structure, strategies and planning. Bush also imparts high level direction to the executive staff in sales, marketing, operations, finance, IT, strategic planning, and quality functions.

Before founding UECS, Bush held senior positions in electronic manufacturing and quality engineering management at four divisions of Lockheed Martin.

Edwin Odette

Co-Chairman

Odette co-founded UECS, Inc. in 2000 and remains strategically involved in the company’s day-to-day activities. He monitors and assures the organization’s overall financial stability, resource availability to support all facets of the business, and core management systems maturity to continually meet and exceed the customer needs. Among Odette’s many achievements at UECS is the development of ANDS, a proprietary Web-based tool for supply chain visibility and tracking.

Prior to establishing UECS, Odette served in various positions of increasing responsibility at Lockheed Martin for nearly thirty years. His last position was Program Manager for a high profile defense and military project.

Shane Long

President and Chief Executive Officer

As President and Chief Executive Officer, Long drives the strategic vision, organizational direction and financial strength needed to transform UECS into a global materials management leader. A serial entrepreneur and leader, he has over fifteen years of strong industry experience in startups, mergers and acquisitions, and successful IPOs in consumer electronics, wireless, graphical computing and telecom industry segments.

In earlier roles, Long served on the board and/or held executive positions at Nemerix, nanoCoolers, and STB Systems/3dFX. Also prior to UECS, he was President and CEO of Bitboys, which was acquired by ATI/AMD in 2006. Long has a BS degree in Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Philip Odette

Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Odette is charged with the day-to-day running of the business, with a distinct focus on operations, finance, human resources, technology, and business development. Prior to assuming this position, he served as Director of Business Development, and was instrumental in diversifying the customer base, enhancing ANDS application and capabilities, expanding vendor partnerships, solidifying the corporate brand, and establishing a tradition of surpassing customer expectations.

Previously, Odette was at Essilor Laboratories of America, where he was responsible for financial evaluations and strategic planning to the executive team. Odette holds a magna cum laude degree in Finance from University of North Texas.

Fred Buehrer

Vice President, Finance and Human Resources

At UECS, Buehrer is responsible for all aspects of finance, accounting and human resource functions. He leads the development and training of the UECS team to ensure that customer expectations are consistently met and exceeded. He brings over thirty years of experience in public accounting, manufacturing, insurance and financial services.

Most recently, Buehrer was Vice President of Finance at Summit Alliance Companies. Prior to that, he served as Tax Director for Transamerica Life Insurance and its fifty-five subsidiaries. Buehrer is a 1978 graduate of Eastern Michigan University. He holds a CPA license and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Texas Society of CPAs.

Tony Passamano

Vice President, Operations

Passamano heads and directs all purchasing, quality, business operations and IT activities at UECS. With nearly twenty years experience in program and quality systems management, he brings world-class expertise to the company’s operations.

Before joining the UECS team, Passamano was at Lockheed Martin, supporting the development, production and quality of the Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) Missile System. He is a graduate of the Lockheed Martin Institute for Leadership Excellence and is a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) for evaluation and improvement of domestic and international manufacturing Centers of Excellence. Passamano is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma.

Bruce Tull

Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Tull is responsible for sales and marketing and brings over twenty years of sales, marketing and business development experience in peripherals, semiconductors and technology industry. His distinctive strengths lie in his engineering grasp and product expertise in consumer electronics, wireless, graphical computing, and storage markets.

Prior to UECS, Tull held executive positions with board responsibilities at TEAC, Quantel, STB Systems/3dFX and Hewlett Packard. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University.
